Psychopath: 

The word psychopath means 'a person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior'.

Psychopaths are of 2 type

·         Primary Psychopathy / Factor 1
·         Secondary Psychopathy / Factor 2
Factor 1 psychopathy has qualities like chaos, emotional, manipulative and many more.
Whereas; Factor 2 psychopathy is related to social behavior which has qualities like Irresponsibility, impossibility and committing crimes.
Factor 2 or secondary psychopathy  has a stronger association with the mental disorders and antisocial personality disorder.

What is Anti-Social Personality Disorder?

·         A mental health disorder characterized by a disregard for other people. Those with Anti-Social Personality Disorder (ASPD) may begin to show symptoms in childhood, but the condition can't be diagnosed until adolescence or adulthood. Those with Anti-Social Personality Disorder tend to lie, break laws, act impulsively and lack regard for their own safety or the safety of others. Symptoms may lessen with age. Treatment may include talk therapy and support for affected family members.

Persons could experience in Anti-Social Personality Disorder:

·         Behavioral: antisocial behavior, deceitfulness, hostility, irresponsibility, manipulativeness, risk-taking behaviors, aggression, impulsivity, irritability, or lack of restraint
·         Mood: anger, boredom, or general discontent.

Risk factors:

Certain factors seem to increase the risk of developing an antisocial personality disorder, such as:
·         Diagnosis of the child's behavior condition.
·         Family history of antisocial personality disorder or other personality disorders or mental health disorders.
·         Being abused or ignored during childhood.
·         Unstable, violent or chaotic family life during childhood.
Men are at greater risk of having antisocial personality disorder than women are.

Treatment for psychopathy;


An antisocial personality disorder is difficult to treat but therapy and close follow-up can be helpful for certain people in the long term. Look for specialists in medical and mental health with expertise in treating antisocial personality disorders. Treatment depends on the individual condition of each person, on their willingness to take part in the treatment, and on the severity of symptoms.
